Shahriar is a Toronto-based musician and visual artist. He completed his bachelor of fine arts degree from OCAD University in 2021, and has since been a practiscing artist in multidisciplinary formats. Shahriar's academic background in music, as a tar and setar player and a percussionist, is grounded under the teachings and mentorship of Master Majid Derakhshani, Sahba Motallebi, Fariborz Azizi, and Isar Yavar. Alongside performance and teaching, Shahriar's current art practice consists of directing and videography within the performing arts.
