I started learning music when I was 3 years old. My mom had always been playing Classical music especially Mozart's compositions for me during her pregnancy with me, and this has definitely been influential on me, my character and my passion for music. I started learning music with Orff, and later when I was in kindergarten I was learning how to play Korg, and later on, when I grew older and personally noticed my interest in music, I started learning Daff which is a traditional Persian percussion instrument. After a couple of years of practicing Daff, my teacher invited me to join his orchestra. I joined the orchestra and we held numerous concerts together. After some concerts, my teacher made a band called Note Sefid/ White Note and I was one of its members. Meanwhile, I started learning Piano as I was so eager to be able to play it and eventually have my own compositions and concerts. After so much effort and diligence, I participated in Pars Music Institute's Piano concerts and had performed there as one of the pianists. I was also invited to perform for multiple bands in Toronto and I have performed with them for special events. Moreover, I was invited to perform for the University of Toronto's special Persian event; hence, I made a band with my brother, and two of my friends, one a vocalist, and the other one a Tar and Setar Player. (Tar and Setar are Traditional Persian lute family instruments), and we all performed for them together, and it was also recorded and shared on Youtube and our Social Media Platforms. University of Toronto's Iranian association (UTIRAN) also held a talent show, in which I participated with our band (the band we made to perform for the University of Toronto's event), and we got the 3rd place and earned rewards. Also, I have always been passionate about singing and I started singing when I was 12. I practice singing on my own and I have only taken one session of vocal class. Music is my passion and it helps me illustrate my being, my feelings, and everything which is happening within me. Music is the wing I can fly with, to the purest areas my soul carries me to. I can't live a day without music and having this great art in this world is a blessing, indeed. I am so excited to explore music and all of its ups and downs. I enjoy holding concerts and being a participant in the orchestras. Furthermore, I am so keen to write and compose my own songs and perform them and/or sing them. Further training at York, will give me this opportunity to vastly step into the infinite world of music, be able to acquire a knowledge of music to higher degrees and become competent in performing, singing, composing, songwriting. York will open the door to my future musical life. My favourite music is classical, pop, traditional, alternative indie, and so on. My favourite artists and composers are Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Yann Tiersen, Evgeny Grinko, David Nevue, Antonio Vivaldi, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Reza Rohani, Anoushiravan Rohani, Fariborz Lachini, Mohammad-Reza Shajarian, Esfandiar Monfaredzadeh, Shahram Nazeri, Parviz Meshkatian, and so forth. I have always been enthusiastic about music; I hope I can pursue it and make my dreams come true. I am impatiently waiting for the day I can turn on the radio and listen to my song, and hear from people that they like my music and are making memories with it, for my music is the voice of my heart.
